Summertime with family

Jacob at the dental school picnic at Beaver Island (thanks Kristen for the photo)

Sorry it has been so long since our last post. We've been busy!! During the past month Jay finished up second year, we went to Ithaca for Grandpa Tony's Memorial Service, we celebrated Mothers and Father's Day and traveled to Rochester for a graduation party. We have also gone on numerous walks, picnics, outdoor excursions, etc. Jacob will be six months old tomorrow (where did the time go)! Enjoy the photos!

Another year of dental school is put away. We're proud of you Jay!

Congratulations Aunt Rebecca!!

Aunt Rebecca graduated this weekend from Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, PA. We are very proud of her!! She has worked extremely diligently the past four years and now she has her diploma to show for it. We had a jam packed weekend of traveling, eating out, sleeping in hotels and seeing lots and lots of family. By the end of the weekend Jacob was very tired, (since he didn't want to miss one bit of the action) but it was worth it for him to see his godmother graduate from college!p.s. Good luck Aunt Maria on your impending medical board exams!! You can do it!After a rather sleepless night Jacob finally passed 0ut on the bed. He was exhausted!
Jacob didn't like sleeping in the cage-like hotel crib! Here is Jacob in new his suit, it's a little big (it'll be perfect for Aunt Laura's wedding). Right after we put it on him he spit up all over himself and Jay!

Here is four generations of family!

Happy Spring

Happy Spring. Here's a look at our garden (the picture doesn't do it justice). We have tomatoes, jalapenoes, basil and oregano growing inside. I love to garden and watch everything grow. Jacob went in for his 4 month check up and shots (although he's technically 4 and a half months). He weighed in at 12 lbs 8 ounces and is 25.5 inches long. He's still on the small side (10% for weight) but the doctor wasn't concerned. He did gain 10 ounces in 2 weeks. He survived his first viral infection (it was nasty). Everyone in the family was sick with it as was Grandma and Poppa Keating after their visit (sorry). Jacob has started solids (we're hoping this will help bulk him up). He really loves sweet potatoes and prunes. Here's what we've been up to the past couple of weeks: Grandpa and me outside of Taste in East aurora. It was over 80 degrees outside. Here I am at Beaver Island with Bri and Kyle. It was cold that day.
