A day in the country

We spent our lovely 70 degree Saturday at Becker Farms in Gasport, NY. It was a fabulous day. We waved at the goats, tromped around a corn maze, bought pumpkins and gourds, went on a tractor ride AND picked Crispin and Idared apples!!

I think there were more apples on the ground then in the trees!

It was a perfect day that made us feel grateful and blessed to live in WNY!

Aunt Laura's wedding

On September 12th Laura and Chad were married at St. James Church in Trumansburg. They had a wonderful wedding and reception. We were glad to have been able to take part in this joyous celebration! Jacob met his great-grandma Shriner and cousins from France for the first time and partied until 10 p.m.!

Jacob just turned 9 months old!!

He weighs 17 lbs 13 oz (10%) and is 29 inches long (48%).

Here is what he likes to do:

-stand up on everything (he's a little dare devil)

-climb over everything in his way

-read books

-eat everything!!

-take few day time naps

-go on stroller rides to Wegmans

-say "Mama," "Dadda," "Baba" and other babbly words

-jump up and down

-smile and giggle

Summer time in and around Buffalo

Jacob went to the Buffalo Zoo for the first time at the end of June. We enjoyed the trip with a co-worker from Mommy's work and her two adorable twin girls. Check out everyone's cool shades! Spending time with Poppa and Mickey.

After Jay finished Part I of his dental boards we packed our bags and spent a couple days at my Grandparents' cottage on Bass Lake in Ontario, Canada! We had a wonderful time swimming, relaxing and enjoying the company of family!

Sorry it has been so long since our last post. We've been busy!! During the past month Jay finished up second year, we went to Ithaca for Grandpa Tony's Memorial Service, we celebrated Mothers and Father's Day and traveled to Rochester for a graduation party. We have also gone on numerous walks, picnics, outdoor excursions, etc. Jacob will be six months old tomorrow (where did the time go)! Enjoy the photos!
